We are super excited to offer you the opportunity to earn our iconic Lyme Park Midsummer Trail 10K medal. If you aren't able to be with us on the day for whatever reason we want you to still be able to enjoy your own version of a race day experience!  You can run/jog/walk your virtual race at any time from the scheduled race date of Tuesday 20th June.

Make sure you send us your pictures on social media and use: #lymeparkmidsummer10k #runnorthwest

ENTRIES ARE SUBJECT TO MEDAL AVAILABILITY AND WILL CLOSE WHEN ALL MEDALS ARE BOOKED (or on 20th June 2023)

HOW DO I DO IT?

Decide when you want to run/jog/walk your chosen distance (starting from Tuesday 20th June), it is entirely up to you where your location is and at what time of day you run. Your run/jog/walk must be done in one go.
You record your run on a tracking device (Garmin, Strava or a basic stopwatch function on your phone), and then upload your run and time using the "upload my times" button in your race confirmation email.

WHEN DO I DO IT?

You have from 00:00 on Tuesday 20th June until midnight on Thursday 20th July 2023 to complete your distance, in one go. You will need to submit your proof by 27th July 2022.

WHEN DO I GET MY MEDAL?

These will be posted out within one week of you sending your times/evidence to us by using the "upload my times" button in your confirmation email. There will also be an option to collect from our Wilmslow store if you prefer.  Medals will be posted out from Thursday 22nd June.

RESULTS

There will be a virtual leader board to view your results and compare against other runners participating in the virtual race (this will be separate to race day results and there are no prizes for the virtual option).

H&S

Ensure you run safely, notify someone of your whereabouts and carry in case of emergency details. Plan your route in advance and where you can seek help should you require any medical assistance. It is wise to carry a mobile phone in the event of an emergency.

Plan your route, ensure you wear the correct footwear for your terrain and anything under foot i.e. kerbs, cats eyes, bollards, pot holes, boggy sections etc. Be aware of your surroundings and anything you could have a collision with, cars, passing traffic, pedestrians, animals. Pay attention to the weather forecast, avoid running in extreme heat/cold, ensure you have enough hydration or layers for the weather.

WHEN DO ENTRIES TO THE VIRTUAL RACE CLOSE?

As soon as our limit is reached or on the Tuesday 20th June 2022, this is based on the number of medals available. Be aware the race could be closed with no notice. If you are thinking of taking part virtually, enter now to avoid disappointment.
