We are super excited to offer you the opportunity to earn our iconic Alderley Edge Bypass 10K medal. If you're not able to join us on the day for whatever reason we want you to still be able to enjoy your own version of a race day experience! You can run/jog/walk your virtual race at any time from the race date of Sunday 12th May 2024 - make sure you send us your pictures on social media and use: #alderleyedgebypass10k #runnorthwest
ENTRIES ARE SUBJECT TO MEDAL AVAILABILITY AND WILL CLOSE WHEN ALL MEDALS ARE BOOKED (or on Saturday 11th May 2024)
HOW DO I DO IT?
Decide when you want to run/jog/walk your chosen distance (starting from Sunday 12th May 2024), it is entirely up to you where your location is and at what time of day you run. Your run/jog/walk must be done in one go.
You record your run on a tracking device (Garmin, Strava or a basic stopwatch function on your phone), and then upload your run and time using the "upload my times" button in your race confirmation email.
WHEN DO I DO IT?
You have from 00:00 on Sunday 12th May 2024 until midnight on Wednesday 12th June 2024 to complete your distance, in one go. You will need to submit your proof by Wednesday 19th June 2024.
WHEN DO I GET MY MEDAL?
These will be posted out within one week of you sending your times/evidence to us by using the "upload my times" button in your confirmation email. There will also be an option to collect from our Wilmslow store if you prefer. Medals will be posted out from Tuesday 14th May 2024.
RESULTS
There will be a virtual leader board to view your results and compare against other runners participating in the virtual race (this will be separate to race day results and there are no prizes for the virtual option).
